PRAISE BE TO THE GOD AND FATHER OF OUR LORD JESUS CHRIST! IN HIS GREAT MERCY HE HAS GIVEN US NEW BIRTH INTO A LIVING HOPE THROUGH THE RESURRECTION OF JESUS CHRIST FROM THE DEAD.
1 PETER 1:3

THE GREATEST VICTORY
In Eden’s light, the choice was made,
A whispered lie, a trust betrayed.
With trembling hands, they reached, they fell,
And cast the world into a hell—
A curse so dark, a debt so wide,
That none could run, that none could hide.
From dust to dust, our fate was sealed,
Our hearts were stone, our wounds unhealed.
No work, no plea, no sacrifice,
Could pay the cost or meet the price.
For sin demands what we can’t give—
A perfect life, a way to live.
But God, rich in mercy, deep in love,
Looked down and sent His Son above.
Not wrapped in fire, nor crowned in gold,
But born in flesh, the plan foretold.
He walked the path we could not tread,
With sinless hands and thorn-crowned head.
Then came the hour, dark and grim,
The world rose up to murder Him.
Upon the cross, His body torn,
He bore the weight, endured the scorn.
A whispered lie, a trust betrayed.
With trembling hands, they reached, they fell,
And cast the world into a hell—
A curse so dark, a debt so wide,
That none could run, that none could hide.

The world rose up to murder Him.
Upon the cross, His body torn,
He bore the weight, endured the scorn.
The wrath of God, the debt of man,
Was poured on Him—redemption’s plan.
The earth grew still, the sky went black,
The Son of God breathed His last.
The veil was torn, the grave stood wide,
Yet hope lay buried deep inside.
Three days passed in silence deep,
As darkness whispered, “He’s asleep.”
But then—at dawn—a tremor strong,
A light, a breath, a victory song!
The stone rolled back, the grave was bare,
For death had lost—He was not there!
The risen King, the conquering Son,
Declared, “The curse is overcome!”
Now all who trust, all who believe,
Will find the grace to be set free.
Though we still stumble, still we fall,
His mercy lifts, His hands hold all.
Until we stand before His face,
Forever saved by perfect grace.

EASTER RESOURCES

Free 8-Day Devotional
As we begin Holy Week, where we remember the sacrifice, suffering, and resurrection of our Savior, it’s good to give ourselves to humble and thankful mourning. Yes, we should be rejoicing people because we have in the redemption that is ours in Christ Jesus eternal reason to rejoice. But this side of our final home, our rejoicing should be mixed with mourning as we witness, experience, and, sadly, give way to the presence and power of evil.
During these next eight days, may your mourning increase so that your joy may deepen. May you groan more so that you would pray more. May your sadness ignite your celebration. And may all of this result in blessings that are too big and too obvious to miss.

50 Reasons Why Jesus Came to Die
The most important questions anyone can ask are: Why was Jesus Christ crucified? Why did he suffer so much? What has this to do with me? Finally, who sent him to his death? The answer to the last question is that God did. Jesus was God’s Son. The suffering was unsurpassed, but the whole message of the Bible leads to this answer.
Explore 50 answers to the question: What did God achieve for sinners like us in sending his Son to die?

Journey to the Cross
Lent is a time in the yearly Christian calendar when we mourn our sin and let go of worldly things that keep our hearts from experiencing God more fully. But how do we reevaluate and recalibrate the values of our hearts to match those of our suffering Savior?
In this forty-day Lenten devotional, Paul David Tripp invites us to set aside time from the busyness of our lives to focus on the suffering and sacrifice of Jesus. Each of the short readings encourages us to abide in the abundant joy found in Christ as we encounter the Savior more fully and follow him more faithfully during this Lenten season.

Is Easter Unbelievable?
Did Jesus rise from the dead? This book explores the miracle at the heart of the Christian faith.
The resurrection of Jesus from the dead is an extraordinary thing to believe. Such a supernatural event is the stuff of make-believe, many think. Yet millions of Christians around the world believe that Jesus' resurrection was a real, historical event. Indeed, "if Christ has not been raised, our preaching is useless and so is your faith" and Christians are "of all people most to be pitied." (1 Corinthians 15)
In this concise book, respected apologist Rebecca McLaughlin outlines the evidence that Jesus really did rise from the dead and why it's the best news ever.
