GLOBAL COMMUNITY

Bethel’s Global Partners are purposefully and strategically connecting Bethel with the mission of Jesus by advancing His Gospel throughout the world. The varied locations and ministries represented by our partners are specific to their unique calling by God. Our Global Partners are supported by prayer, as well as financially through Bethel’s budget. Some of our partners work in sensitive areas and are unable to be shared openly.

Serving in Africa

Serving in Asia

Bethel supports two families in Africa. These families prefer not to post information on the web, but still need prayer and encouragement. If you are interested in supporting them this way, please contact us at office@bethelowatonna.com.

Serving in Europe

Bethel supports three families who serve in Asia. These families prefer not to post information on the web, but still need prayer and encouragement. If you are interested in supporting them this way, please contact us at office@bethelowatonna.com.

Serving in Teaching & Training

Dwight and Sandi Ekholm moved to Europe in 1974 to train Christian leaders behind the Iron Curtain. In the past four decades they have lived and ministered in Austria, Germany, England and Greece.  They have had effective ministry discipling men and women.  Dwight has worked with refugees from many different countries and also with international diplomats.  Sandi has Bible studies with women in their home.  Dwight is the director of recruiting for Entrust (www.entrust4.org) and is involved in discipleship training in the Middle East.

Light of the Gospel has been our sister church in Kamenka, Ukraine since 1994.  Pastor Peter was pastor before they had the freedom to worship in a church building.  Each year they see people who come to Christ and are baptized.  There have been 21 short-term trips from Bethel to Light of the Gospel from 1994-2008.
Larry Caldwell taught two decades at Asian Theological Seminary in the Philippines. He is now the director of Missionary Training and Strategy Development for Converge Worldwide. Larry helps train missionaries from candidate status to retirement. Larry also works to develop strategies to help missionaries multiply movements of reproducing churches within their people groups. Larry continues to teach at seminaries worldwide and does research and writing on missions.
